RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - Custom officials at the Salwa entry point that connects Saudi Arabia and Qatar foiled an attempt to smuggle in 327 bottles of liquor, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported on Wednesday. The bottles of liquor were hidden inside the gasoline tank of a truck that was entering the Kingdom. Police stopped the driver and when they conducted x-ray on the vehicle, they found the hidden cargo. The Customs Department transferred the case to police for further investigations. Full Story>>
